The Role

As Content Producer, you’ll be joining us at an exciting time, as we’re growing our communications and content team.

You will work with the Content Manager to plan and create exciting video and audio content that helps raise awareness of the value of the legal profession, and the work we do to support our members.

You will also lead the production of compelling video content for our premium member communities. Examples could include insight-led interviews with speakers at our events and other industry experts.

You will manage our new audio library, including potentially developing a new filmed podcast series to discuss hot topics within the legal industry.

You will also commission video content, where required, using freelancers, consultants, and agencies, ensuring clear briefs are created that outline expectations and that outputs are delivered on time to agreed budgets and standards.

A critical part of this role is to think audience-first. You’ll build engagement with our members and a wider stakeholder and public audience by incorporating a storytelling approach to content where appropriate.

In many cases, this will require you being able to get to the heart of the real-life impact of an issue to create content with a clear ‘hook’. You’ll conduct interviews and research to identify the key elements of the story and use that information to create high quality and punchy multimedia content.

What we're looking for

We are looking for a candidate with:

- Advanced proficiency in producing high quality video and audio content for a large audience.
- Expert-level knowledge in industry standards and best practices.
- Expert-level knowledge in video and audio editing software such as  Adobe Premiere Pro (or similar).
- Excellent understanding of latest trends and best practice in creating engaging visual/audio content across web and social channels.
- Effective planning, analytical and organisational skills, including the ability to manage competing priorities.
