The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a team of expert marketers that prioritises collaboration, innovation, personal growth, and a supportive team culture.

You'll be the marketing lead for Commercial Partnerships, collaborating with colleagues in the Commercial Marketing and Partnerships & Sales Teams to deliver the partnership marketing strategy, as well as being the marketing lead for at least 10 high-value commercial partners,

You’ll coach and manage the Commercial Marketing Officer and work with a team of marketing experts that deliver strategic marketing campaigns for Law Society books, events, partnerships, and the Law Gazette Jobs Board and Reader Panel. You will also collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders at all seniority levels to develop and deliver creative marketing campaigns that reach target audiences in new and innovative ways, adding value for our members and customers.

This is an exciting time to join as the Law Society’s 2025-28 Corporate Strategy is about to be launched, and there’s a strong drive for the Marketing department to develop more creative, strategic, content-led campaigns; reach new audiences; and act more competitively to deliver more value for our members, customers, and the business.

What we're looking for

Significant experience in a b2b digital marketing role at a similar level or above, with a strong understanding of campaign planning and execution.

Significant experience managing external client relationships and delivering marketing activity for clients.

Experience developing compelling socials-first marketing content and working with both colleagues and external freelancers to develop a wide range of content for a variety of marketing channels, and excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to create compelling marketing collateral and messaging.

Analytical mindset, with experience using data insights and marketing analytics tools to track and optimise campaign performance.

Strong planning and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
